Production Planner

Title: Production Planner

Reports To: Director of Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Planner coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within and/or between departments and two plants according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production records and shipment schedules, conferring with department supervisors and managers to determine progress of work, completion dates and inventory levels prior to creating production documentation/records.

Specific Responsibilities – Must be able to do all:

  • Create daily production documentation/records to meet production schedules and ensure on time delivery. Follow up as needed with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet customer expectations.
  • Verify inventory is available prior to creating production documentation/records by performing data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand.
  • Reviews and recommends production priorities.
  • Provide status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.
  • Interacts with shop plant management daily to resolve issues regarding efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting.
  • Oversee the transfer of materials between both locations.
  • Monitor and order MRO materials for both facilities.
  • Schedule trucks for inbound material and products, outbound products, and intra-facility material transfers.
  • Assist quality as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Oversee damaged material claims
  • Responsible for end of lot investigations.
  • Coordinate with sales team to reduce inventory of discontinued products.
  • Works in close conjunction with customer service, purchasing, Warehouse Manager and production supervisors.
  • Keeps customer service updated on delivery dates and unforseen changes to the production schedule.
  • Coordinates and performs cycle counts.
  • Works closely with QC to ensure a smooth transition between jobs.
  • Can fill in as the 2nd shift supervisor (2:30pm – 11:00pm) when needed (very minimal).
  • Use the expiry report to inform sales team of items that are expiring items.
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5 years’ experience desired

QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand ERP/MRP system and computer applications (i.e., Microsoft applications, Syspro, etc.).
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate personal time management skills.
  • Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict guidelines.

Assembler/Packer – 1st and 2nd Shift

We are currently searching for Packers. This position works 10-hour days. The work environment is clean, well lit and heated/air conditioned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The assembler/packer packs product according to master control.

Specific Responsibilities – Must be able to do all:

  • Bring materials from staging area to production line.
  • Remove product from line.
  • May assemble into inners (shrink wrap).
  • Assemble boxes and place product into box.
  • Affix all required labels to boxes.
  • Fill hoppers as needed.
  • In-process inspections.
  • Complete productivity paperwork.
  • Verify final count.
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, co-workers and vendors.
  • Follow CGMP standards and SOPs.
  • Other duties as assigned or directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to perform all of the responsibilities listed above
  • Ability read/write
  • Ability to stand for 10 hours
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING HOURS:

  • 1st SHIFT 6:00am-4:30pm
  •  2nd SHIFT 2:30pm-11:00pm

Staff Accountant

This position is responsible for maintaining a general ledger and review financial statements for accuracy before preparing reports that will assist executive management in making informed decisions about upcoming projects or years’ budgets. They’re also responsible for keeping track and recording all transactions within a company. Manage general accounting and financial processes of our company. Responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and bookkeeping. Perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail. Complete relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to vendors via email and handling invoices).

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

· Maintain and update accounting records, reports, and general ledger accounts

· Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing and treasury

· Prepare and post general ledger transactions and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly

· Reconcile monthly bank statements

· Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders

· Conduct month-end and year-end closures, including meeting processing and reporting deadlines

· Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits

· Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections

· Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations and work to improve financial processes

· Assisting the Vice President of Finance and other duties, as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

· 1 – 3 years of experience in an accounting environment

QUALIFICATIONS / OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet timely obligations

· Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets

· Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills

· Working knowledge of GAAP

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Good problem-solving and time management skills

· Professional experience working with confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information

Machine Technician / Machine Operator

Setup scheduled production jobs. This includes manual machine adjustments and keying in the necessary information. Oversee general productivity of the line to ensure production goals are met. Job Type: Full-time

Warehouse Supervisor

This position is responsible to supervise the performance of warehouse operations. Responsible to coach, train and monitor employees in a manner that is consistent with Reese Pharmaceutical Company’s policies and values. The supervisor is also responsible to communicate, coordinate and maintain a good working relationship between warehouses, operations, quality, and management.
